ABU Partners Arieswap And Flywallet To Push NFT Education In Africa
We are excited to announce a new strategic partnership with AriSwap and Flywallet to strengthen our NFT Education in Africa. These partnerships come at a period when NFTs are booming around the globe, and it’s in line with our NFT Africa Initiative.
We have been running a series of NFT Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshops for African Artists since October 2021. Africa Blockchain University has trained artists in Tanzania, Uganda, and Nigeria to comprehend the intersection of Art and Blockchain technology and how to utilize it to preserve African culture and heritage.
It is a deliberate attempt to lead artists to comprehend NFT adequately and engage in it to bring their works to a global marketplace while securing their intellectual property for sustainable benefits.
We select the participants for these workshops from Art Associations, Museums, Cooperatives, and Academic institutions. The target audience is mainly creatives like visual artists, photographers, musicians, filmmakers, and collectors.
Curriculum Of Workshops
Our workshop sessions always cover broad essential areas like Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Fundamentals of NFT, Tools for BlockArt Journey, Storytelling, Community & Branding, How To Mint, and Investing in Decentralized Finance with earnings from NFTs. Our participants learn how to cash out their earnings on exchanges and invest in liquidity pools, staking, and yielding farming.
Each of our workshops hosts 50 artists. The distinctive element is that the consortium provides capacity support to the participants to train more artists in their communities, associations, and cooperatives as part of their action plans.
After the events, the Artists can join the Network of African NFT Artists (NaNa) and country-specific WhatsApp and Telegram groups to regularly share ideas, success stories, challenges, and experiences. We also assist them in launching collections on our NFT Platform Partners.
Upcoming Workshops
There will be Workshops in Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, and Nigeria in the coming weeks. After that, it will be in countries like South Sudan, Malawi, Zambia, South Africa, Kenya, Egpyt, Senegal, and the Gambia before the year ends.
